This is a beautiful song by the band Coldplay released in 2002 in the album A rush of blood in the head. Chris Martin got the inspiration of this song when he tried to play Isn't it a pity by George Harisson. As the piano wasn't tune, he couldn't play it and thus, this song is born.
The video clip is very nice. All the video is filmed in rewind way.
This song is one of the best song of the band and also one of their greatest success. So it's normal to see a lot of nice cover too. Piano sounds great but we can also do something nice with a kalimba.

Voici une bien jolie chanson écrite et jouée par le groupe Coldplay. Sortie en 2002 et faisant partie de l'album A rush of blood in the head, The scientist a été un gros succès du groupe. Chris Martin trouvait qu'il manquait quelque chose pour finaliser l'album. Il tenta de pianoter sur un piano désaccordé la chanson "Isn't it a pity" de George Harisson, sans succès... Mais il eut l'inspiration pour cette chanson. Il l'enregistra d'accord seul, puis lorsque le reste du groupe le rejoignit, ils y ajoutèrent les autres instruments.
J'aime bien également le clip qui est filmé entièrement à l'envers !
Cette chanson a donc été un de leurs plus gros succès, on voit donc fleurir beaucoup de reprises et c'est normal. C'est génial au piano, mais avec notre piano des doigts, on peut aussi sortir quelque chose de symapthique !
